Raven Marching Band Records Laura Veirs Carbon Glacier Vinyl Record

Limited Release ; Black and Clear Vinyl Carbon Glacier was originally released on CD in 2004, later released on vinyl in 2007. It has been out of print since 2010. It is widely seen as a groundbreaking album in the Laura Veirs canon.'With her landmark fourth album, Veirs evoked the Pacific Northwest in climactic imagery' - Uncut"Carbon Glacier is a cold, beautiful and engaging record that translates the bleak, isolated vastness of nature into the bleak, isolated vastness of the modern city-sprawl, leaving one voice to sing in solitude.' - Pitchfork "This is an oddly beautiful album - far more engaging than you'd expect of one written in a grey Seattle winter, pondering mortality, Moby Dick and the great sheet of blackened ice after which it's named.' - The Guardian Producer/drummer Tucker Martine (Modest Mouse). Martine allows the experimentation to bloom in all the right places, resulting in a record that never overworks itself, despite being packed to the gills with ghostly glockenspiels, organs, random percussion, and trombone. Veirs' hypnotic voice cuts through it all with deadpan sincerity -- she's equally capable of pitch- perfect beauty ("Lonely Angel Dust") or tightrope uneasiness ("Icebound Stream") -- that comes off somewhere between Nina Nastasia and Jolie Holland.

    SHIPPING & RETURNS

    1. Shipping costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and order details, and are shown in full before you confirm your order.

    2. Payment on delivery
Orders are paid in cash to the courier at the time of delivery. Please have the full order amount, including shipping, ready in USD or L.L. Couriers cannot provide change for large notes.

You may inspect the package for visible damage before paying. If the package is visibly damaged or the wrong item, refuse it and contact us the same day.

    3. Processing and delivery time
For deliveries within Lebanon, estimated delivery is 2–5 business days from order placement, including processing. Business days exclude weekends and public holidays. We will contact you if your order will take longer.

Delivery times are estimates and may vary with location, carrier performance, or factors outside our control. Delivery outside Lebanon varies by destination; contact us for an estimate before ordering.

    4. Shipping method and tracking
Orders ship via Wakilni. Tracking details are sent once your order is dispatched.

    5. Delivery attempts and failed deliveries
Our courier will attempt delivery 2 times. Please make sure your phone number and address are correct and that someone is available to receive and pay for the order.

If delivery fails because the address or phone number provided was incorrect or incomplete, or because no one was available across all attempts, we may charge a re-delivery fee before shipping again.

Refusing a correctly delivered order is not a cancellation. Orders can be cancelled free of charge at any point before dispatch — see our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

    6. Shipping fees
Shipping fees are non-refundable once an order has been dispatched, unless the return is due to our error — a wrong, defective, damaged or misdescribed item — in which case we cover shipping in both directions.
